‘Boss’ is one term which is never seen with a pleasant feeling. You will always find some or the other reason to criticise you boss. Be it your office, home or anywhere in the world, a call from the boss will get you on your toes because he eventually becomes the priority in your life. 1. Easygoing Boss

One of the best bosses you would get to work with. These are not the typical kind of bosses who would make your life a living hell. They would cooperate with you and would help you achieve targets on time. Whenever you feel stuck in a situation whether personal or professional, they will always be there to support you and offer a quick solution. They would not pester you to achieve targets by compromising on the quality of work. In fact they would focus more on quality and will push you to come up with excellent quality rather than voluminous one. Such people often stay away from office politics and put rational points to justify the production of work with the results.

How to Deal with them: Before submitting the task, seek their opinion and get their reviews. Quality check is important and because they will never intrude in your personal zone, so respect the fact and acknowledge their suggestions for making changes in your work.

2. Finicky Boss

He is one of the toughest bosses to work with. He won’t listen to any of your excuses whether genuine or fake. All he needs is the targets completed within deadlines despite all the odds. They are hyperactive bosses and will pick point your mistakes in everything you do. Your life will become a struggle under such a boss. The basic reason for this irrational behaviour is sometimes their untrustworthy nature that doubts every person around them. For them everything needs to be perfect and without their advice, nothing can reach a level of perfection.

How to Deal with them: Keep him in loop every time you take up news task in hand. Inform him/her all the relevant details about the work so that you can win his/her trust. If you will keep achieving your targets within time, he won’t cause much trouble and would also let you take lead in some tasks.

3. Micro Manager Boss

If you are lucky enough to work under such a boss then you will learn a lot. He is kind of a boss who will push you to go beyond your limits to perform. He would want you to involve him in everything you do. From a little task at hand to the time of your coming and leaving from the office and what not, he wants to keep a track of everything you do in the official hours. He will behave like a watchdog that would keep an eye on you and get the targets accomplished within the deadlines. They are not finicky, but would rather want you to utilise your time judiciously in the office. For them, employees who love to waste time are the useless one and must be sacked so that the cost of organisation shall be saved.

How to Deal with them: All he wants is participation in every task that you do. So it is probably the easiest thing that you can do to keep him sane and sound. Inform about every task, from your leaves to your meeting with the HR personnel and your work schedule. He will not cause troubles in your life.
