Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, Hyderabad, invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Drug Inspector in Andhra Pradesh Drugs Control Administration Service.

• Last date for sending application: 22 March 2012
• Last date for payment of fee: 20 March 2012
• Date for Written Examination: 29 April 2012 at Hyderabad only

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Must possess a Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine with Specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from an University established in India by Law.

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Maximum 36 years

Pay Scale: Rs 16,150-42,590

Application Fee: Each applicant must pay Rs 100 (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee Rs 120 (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Only if Candidates are not exempted from payment of Fee). Payment of Rs 100 (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards application processing fee is compulsory for all Applicants.

The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the AP Online centres/ State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance.

Selection Procedure: The final selection will be based on the written examination (Objective Type) conducted by the commission.
