The PSLV is one of the world's most reliable launch vehicles. It has been in service for over twenty years the and has launched various satellites for historic missions like Chandrayaan-1, Mars Orbiter Mission, Space Capsule Recovery Experiment, Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) etc.

Three Indian satellites were launched onboard PSLV-C37 on February 15, 2017. These satellites are:

(i) Cartosat-2 Series satellite and the objective of Indian Cartosat-2 series satellite is to provide high-resolution images of earth’s surface at a sub-meter resolution and at 2-meter resolution.

The extreme temperatures and resultant atmospheric conditions adversely affect people living in these regions as they cause physiological stress, sometimes resulting in death.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has given the following criteria for Heat Waves:

The Government f India has dedicated to the nation, India’s longest road tunnel from Chennai to Nashri. The tunnel on NH-44 which connects Jammu with Srinagar will reduce travel time between the two cities by up to two hours.
