The University of Delhi was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. Popularly known as DU, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. It invites application from eligible candidates for selecting students for admission to MSc.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

50% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit based on marks obtained by the candidates in the respective BSc (Hons.) Course Examination from University of Delhi (not through Entrance Test). They are, however, advised to make application for the admission through Entrance Test as well.
Entrance Test for admission to the following Courses except MA/ MSc in Environmental Studies is being conducted to fill up 50% seats of total intake on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test.
Selection Procedure for Admission in Delhi University (DU): Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the Common Entrance Test to be conducted by the Faculty of Science.
How to Apply for Admission in Delhi University (DU): The Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained in person from the Office of the Faculty of Science, Unit-I, Pota Cabin, Near Department of Zoology, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110007, on all working days between 10.30 am to 3.30 pm on cash payment of Rs 150.
Application form by Post: On remitting a crossed Bank Draft of Rs 150 for each course in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at State Bank of India Service Branch, New Delhi (Code No.7687). A self addressed envelope of size (25cms x 17cms) with postage stamps worth Rs 30 attached should also be enclosed with the request to be addressed as indicated above. Draft must be purchased only from the branches of State Bank of India.
Candidates are requested to write their name, and address at the back of Bank Draft.
