Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) will conduct Joint CSIR-UGC NET on 23 June 2013 at 26 centres across the nation. CSIR has already started dispatching admission certificate for the exam from the last week of May 2013.
Candidates should note that they will not be admitted to the Test unless they hold the admission Certificate to the Test. Moreover, CSIR cannot be held responsible for any delay/non-receipt of the Admission certificate.
CSIR conducts Joint CSIR UGC NET twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and to determine the eligibility for the recruitment of lecturers in 6 subjects under the faculty of Science & Technology. Registration status of the candidates who have applied for the examination are available at the official website of CSIR.
The mode of examination will be objective type with Multiple Choice Questions for all the six subjects namely Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering Sciences.
