After the end of the admission procedure based on the final cut off list issued by the Delhi University this year, there would be no further lists issued for the academic session. The colleges with vacant seats in different streams would now upload their vacancy status on their own to the Website of Delhi University on Saturday.

According to sources there are still seats available in some of the popular colleges and courses after the commencement of admission based on the fifth cut off list.

The Delhi University had earlier notified to its colleges and aspiring students that it would take out only five cut off lists this year, and if there still remains seats in various courses at the colleges, they would have to put up the information categorically in the university portal as well as in their own college website and notice board. The candidates would then have to apply to the colleges for the courses providing their names, online registration number and best of four percentages.

According to the information, the colleges would put a merit list of the candidate in their website and notice board. This would also get posted on the university website by the respective colleges. Depending on the remaining vacant seats maximum three merit lists would be taken out by the colleges. If there is a tie between students in the best of four marks, the overall marks in the Class 12 would be taken into consideration to resolve the issue.

The candidates would be allowed to submit their online application from 24 to 26 July and the merit list would get issued on 27 July. Document verification and admission procedure would get over with on 28 and 29 July for the first merit list. In case there is a second merit list, it would get out on 30 July and the third one on 3 August, 2016. As the classes for the academic session in DU have already begun, the university administration would like to get over the admissions of the session as soon as possible.
