Educational Qualification: First Class Engineering Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/STs) from AICTE approved Colleges/ Recognized Indian Universities in the relevant discipline.
Age Limit (as on 30 April 2012): Maximum 25 years
Selection Procedure for recruitment in ECIL 2012: The selection process will be through a written test and interview.
Written Test: The written test (objective type) is of 2 hours duration on engineering degree syllabus in respective discipline through process of OMR sheet. The written test will be held at the following cities spread all over India: Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna & Trivandrum
Interview: Candidates short listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be required to appear for an interview at Hyderabad. The date, time and venue of interview will be intimated by mail/ SMS.
Bond in ECIL: The selected candidates are required to execute a Surety & Indemnity Bond on separate non-judicial stamp paper of Rs100 each to serve the Corporation for a period of 4 years (1 year as Trainee +3 years as Engineer - Contract). The amount payable for breach of contract is Rupees Four Lakhs only.
How to Apply for recruitment in ECIL 2012
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General/ OBC category need to pay examination fee of Rs 200 and no fee will be charged from SC/ ST category candidates. The fee needs to be paid in the form of Pay-in-Slip available on the website. State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee, in a specially opened Account Number 31102144119.
On receipt of the money the bank will issue a unique Journal Number, Branch Name and Branch Code of the bank collecting the money. This journal number, Branch Name and the branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during online "final submission".
