Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct Combined Graduate Level Examination 2012 on 1 & 8 July 2012 for recruitment to different posts like Assistants, Inspectors, Divisional Accountants, Compiler etc. for which Graduation from a recognized University is the minimum Educational Qualification.
The syllabus for the Combined Graduate Level Tier 1 Examination will include the following:
a. General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 marks)
b. General Awareness (50 marks)
c. Quantitave Aptitude (50 marks)
d. English Comprehension (50 marks)
There will be negative marking- 0.25 for each wrong answer.
General Awareness: Questions in this component are aimed at testing the candidates’ general awareness of the environment around him and also its application to the society. Questions will test aspirant’s knowledge of Current Affairs and of such matters of everyday observations and experience. The test will include questions related to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research.
