LinkedIn profile does more than what a resume of a candidate does before getting notified about the job opportunity. But, this happens only if the profile of professional or newbie catches the attentions of others who always keep their hunt continue for desired one on LinkedIn.

Take a professional photo

People, most of the time, see the visuals earlier than reading the text, either it’s on professional networking site such as LinkedIn or it’s on social networking sites like Facebook or Twitter. Your friends might first see the picture you have included in a post before they begin to read and understand the text. A profile photo is, therefore, more likely to be seen earlier than what you have written in your profile. Construct A Good Headline

So try to get recommended by at least two persons for each of the positions you held in past.
