Q: I am a night person and usually study till late at night. Mostly the study hours extend till 4 or 5 in the morning. However when I am awake by 1pm in the noon, there is a feeling of bloating and loss of concentration. How should I deal with it?
A: Do not miss breakfast. If you miss breakfast then by the time you have lunch nearly 10 -12 hours have gone by after your last meal. This means your blood sugar level has gone and you have nothing to provide your body with energy. This low blood sugar or hypoglycaemia causes short-term memory problems, difficulty in concentration and problem solving.
