The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct Common Written Exam (CWE) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in September 2012 for recruitment of Officers and Officer Assistants (Multipurpose). National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has been entrusted with the responsibility of coordination and Supervision of the selection process beside finalisation of the methodology for the conduct of the Common Written Examination. A total of 82 Regional Rural Bank (RRBs) will participate in the Recruitment Process.

Eligibility Criteria for recruitment of Officers in Regional Rural Banks through CWE 2012
Prospective Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the specified eligibility criteria before applying to various Public Sector Banks for the Common Written Examination (CWE). However merely applying for CWE/ appearing for the examination do not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in all or any of the 82 Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) as each Bank will stipulate its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria.
a) Chartered Accountant: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Experience Required: One Year
b) Marketing Officer: Post Graduate Degree in Marketing from a recognized university. Experience Required: One Year
c) Treasury Manager: Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Post graduate Degree in Finance from a recognized university/ institution. Experience Required: One Year
d) Agricultural Officer: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy Science/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture or allied specializations or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Experience Required: One Year
Note: Language Proficiency Candidates are required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT in which RRB is located and must have passed "local language" as one of the subjects at Matriculation/ Xth Standard.

Selection Procedure for recruitment of Officers in Regional Rural Banks through CWE 2012: The candidates will be selected on the basis of written Examination which will be conducted by IBPS in coordination with NABARD.
Examination Centres for recruitment of Officers in Regional Rural Banks through CWE 2012: IBPS will conduct CWE for recruitment of Officers in Regional Rural Banks at various centres across 27 States.
How to Apply for recruitment of Officers in Regional Rural Banks through CWE 2012
Candidates can apply online only and no other mode of application will be accepted. Before applying online, candidates should first pay the application fees
Application Fee: Application fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen category candidates (for all posts) is Rs 50 and fee for other category candidates is Rs 450 for Officer (Scale I, II & III) and Rs 350 for Office Assistant (Multipurpose).

Candidates are first required to take a printout of the fee payment challan from IBPS website and indicate the particular Bank in which they wish to pay fees/ intimation charges. Candidates are required to fill in the fee payment challan for any of the above Banks with details such as Name, Date of Birth, Contact No., Category, Post Applied for, Amount deposited, Depositing Branch Name and City etc.
Collect the candidate's copy of the Fee Payment Challan from the Branch. Please check that the challan is properly signed and the details of Transaction Number, Branch Name and DP Code Number, Deposit Date have been noted in the challan by the Branch authorities. Candidates are required to submit the original fee payment challan along with the Call Letter at the time of written examination.
Candidates are required to apply online on the IBPS's website www.ibps.in and enter their basic details and upload the photograph and signature in the online application form. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature. Candidates should note their Registration Number and Password for future reference.
After applying on-line, the candidate should immediately take a printout of the system generated on-line application form, ensure the particulars filled in are accurate, and retain it for future reference. They should not send this print out to the IBPS.
