Jharkhand Academic Council invites application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers in Secondary Schools.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Graduation in the concerned discipline from a recognised University with not less than 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates) + B Ed (Bachelor in Education)

Age Limit (as on 1 January 2011): Minimum 21 years; Maximum 40 years

Application Fee: Application fee for General and OBC category candidate is Rs 750 and fee for SC/ ST category candidate is Rs 375.

The fee needs to be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of ‘Jharkhand Academic Council fund' payable at Ranchi. Candidate should mention his name and address on reverse side of the demand draft.

Selection Procedure: The selection procedure will comprise of Written Test which includes the following

• Paper I: General Knowledge, Hindi Language, English Language ()
• Paper II: Chosen Subject Test (300 marks)
• Paper III: Qualifying Paper
