MAT 2017 Exam Notification: As per the latest notification available on AIMA website, the MAT Exam 2017 have officially been announced by the All India Management Association (AIMA). The MAT 2017 online registrations for September Exam can be done by interested candidates on the official website of the exam i.e. aima.in.

The application deadline for MAT 2017 Exam is 26th August, so MBA aspirants are requested to apply for MAT 2017 Sept Exam before the deadline. However, candidates planning to apply for MAT 2017 Exam in offline / pen-paper application mode must keep in mind that they will have submit their applications by 23rd August 2017.

MAT exam is scheduled to take place on September 3, 2017 i.e. Sunday in Paper Based format from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM. The MAT online exam or Computer Based Test is scheduled on September 9, 2017 i.e. Saturday, in different time slots at specific test venues across India. The details of the test venues are available at the official website of AIMA i.e. www.aima.in. Exam takers can access the details to verify the test center in their city.

Eligibility Criteria for MAT 2017

The eligibility criterion for appearing in the MAT 2017 exam as per AIMA guidelines is mentioned as under:

  1. Candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognised university or institute.
  2. Final year graduation students can also apply for MAT. They have to submit documents as a proof of completion of graduation within the prescribed time.

How to Apply for MAT September 2017 Exam

Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to apply for the exam

1. Register online at website link with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) payment of Rs.1400/- Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

Or

2. Register online at website link by making payment of Rs.1400/- through Net Banking. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

How many questions to attempt in MAT Exam to get 90+ percentile

Exam Pattern for MAT September 2017

The MAT exam shall be of 150 minutes (2.30 hours) duration and it shall be consisted of 200 MCQ type questions. Each MCQ will carry 1 mark for correct response. 200 MCQ shall be asked from following sections:

  • Data Analysis and Sufficiency – 40 Questions
  • Intelligence and Critical Reasoning – 40 Questions
  • Language Comprehension – 40 Questions
  • Mathematical Skills – 40 Questions
  • Indian and Global Environment – 40 Questions

There shall be a provision of negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 0.25 mark shall be deducted.
