Required Certificates for CAT 2012 Aspirants

Nearly 3 lakh aspirants register for Common Admission Test (CAT) Entrance Exam every year. It is the biggest Entrance Exam for admission in MBA Programs in India.

There are certain set of certificates which candidates need to arrange and submit.

Find below the list of certificates and their proforma:

  • Candidate Identification Affidavit
  • Final Year Certificate: Proforma of Certificate to be obtained from the Principal/HoD/Registrar/Director certifying that the applicant has obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent on College/Institution’s Letterhead. This form has to be submitted by candidates appearing in the final year of Graduation and are awaiting the results
  • NC-OBC Certificate: This certificate needs to be produced by candidates belonging to Non-Creamy Other Backward Classes
  • SC/ST Certificate: Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe Certificate
  • DA(PWD) Certificate: Differently Abled Certificate
  • DA Scribe Request Form

Candidates need to arrange the applicable documents in order to complete the admission formalities.

SC/ST candidates are required to bring along a valid document as proof of SC/ST eligibility.

DA candidates requiring support during the test need to bring along the authorisation of support from Prometric as well as a valid photo identification of scribe if applicable.
