SSC CHSL 2016: Major changes in the SSC CHSL 2016 notification

SSC has recently informed about the changes made for CHSL entry held for the session 2016-17. These changes are about pay of CHSL offered posts, educational qualifications and skill test for DEO. The related notification was officially introduced on 08.10.2016 at SSC website.

The online registration for the same was accepted respective from November 2016 and the online examinations were conducted from 07thJan, 2017 to 8thFeb, 2017. SSC CHSL exam is the nationwide exam for recruiting postal assistants/sorting assistants, data entry operators, lower divisional clerks and court clerk. For DEO, 8000 key depressions per hour on computer

A typing speed of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour to be ascertained on computer for Data entry operators.

The above stated changes are only for the mentioned ministry/department. There are no changes for other departments regarding all three criteria. For the same, all candidates are informed through emails by the authority.

Besides this, the commission with the consultation of C & AG has decided to obtain the information about the educational qualifications and fresh preferences for DEO posts.

SSC has estimated to recruit candidates for more than 5000 vacancies on the previously mentioned posts through Tier-1, 2 &3 exams. Around 64 lakhs candidates are registered for Tier-1 exam and Tier-2 exam date is still awaited.
