UGC notified for Scholarships by Government of Czech Republic

UGC in December 2012 notified for 3 Scholarships to University/ College students/ graduates/ PhD scholars for study or research stay in University of Czech Republic and 2 scholarship seats for participation in Czech language courses. In an official communication received by UGC, the scholarships are granted under Bilateral International Agreements for the academic year 2013-14.
Candidates who wish to apply for the scholarship which is granted for 10 months duration should contact the selected university directly and point out that they are applying for a scholarship award under international agreement. They should, therefore, request a letter of invitation from the relevant department. Candidates need not necessarily be proficient in Czech language until and unless it is a prerequisite for a particular field of study/ research.
The students of Czech Language who wish to apply for Czech Language courses of Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies 2013 offered by various universities in the Czech Republic needs to send application via their institution.
CLICK HERE to download application form. The last date to send two application packets in two originals is February 2013 to Embassy of Czech Republic, 50-M, Niti Marg, New Delhi-11021.
