The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) declared the results of Class 10 Examination on 29 May 2012 at 11 am. Popularly known as Madhyamik Examination, the results are available on the official site, students can also find their results on their email id's and through sms.
Nearly eleven lakh students appeared for the Class 10 examination 2012. The results will now decide the fate of the students aspiring for admission to the streams (Science, Humanities ad Commerce) of their choice.
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is the West Bengal state government administered autonomous examining authority for the Standard 10 examination (or secondary school level examination) of West Bengal, India. The exam is commonly known as Madhyamik Examination.
The Madhyamik examination is conducted annually and simultaneously all over the state of West Bengal and also in affiliates of the board located outside West Bengal, elsewhere in India.
The Board of Secondary Education was established in 1951 under an Act of the State Legislature called the West Bengal Secondary Education Act of 1950.
