The CGBSE, Raipur is responsible for conducting High School (10th Class) and Intermediate (12th Class) examinations. It declared class 12 results on 30 April 2013 at 5 pm for which a total of 2.48 lakh students appeared and 181182 candidates (pass percentage 74.88%) were declared successful.

Girls’ outshined boys in the CGBSE 12th Result 2013 with the pass percentage of 77.28% as compared to 72.87% pass percentage for boys.

A total of 43418 candidates passed with 1st division, 101715 candidates passed in 2nd division, 35567 candidates passed with 3rd division and 490 passed under Pass Category. The Chhattisgarh Board had however stopped result for 978 candidates for unknown reasons.

However, students who had appeared for class 10th examination will have to wait for some more time as the result is expected to be declared in the first week of May 2013. The examination for the same was conducted from 1 March 2013 to 30 March 2013. CGBSE had declared result for Class 10 in the last week of May 2012 at 1 pm. This year, however, candidates can expect their result in the first week of May. Candidates who had appeared for the examination should keep their roll numbers handy and avoid panic.

Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education was upgraded on 20 September 2001 and is state agency of Government of Chhattisgarh in India. The CG board runs on the motive of maintaining uniformity of education at all standards and enlighten students with accurate education with the aim of enhancing their level of information at national and international level. It is to be noted that the Board is an autonomous and self financing body.
