The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) or the Uttaranchal Education and Examination Board (UEEB) will declare the date sheets for Class 10 and Class 12 (board) examinations soon.
The Board conducts the examinations for both the classes any time between March – April every year. Both the 10 and the 12 board examinations are conducted by the Uttarakhand Vidyalay Shiksha Parishad.
In the year, 2012, the board declared both the Class 10 and 12 results on the same day, that is 29 May 2012.
If we go on a back ground check, in the year 2011, the overall pass percentage for 10 Class was an average 62.46% and in the year 2010, total students appeared were 180645, out of which only, 116888 students pass.
Also the girls’ Pass Percentage has been 72.68% in 2010, with the boys’ Pass Percentage being 60.03%. The pass percentage for regular students stood at a stoic 69.04 %, while for private students it stood at 39.82 %.
On the same hand, in terms of Class 12, in the year 2010, the total number of students who appeared for the examination were 118395, while 86418 students cleared the examination. The pass percentage in general stood at, 74.36% with the girls being at a slight increase to 82.36% and boys standing at 66.87%. For class 12, the pass percentage for both, the regular and the private students took a hike.
The Directorate of School Education was established in Dehradun after creation of Uttarakhand, now it is functioning at Nanoorkhera,Nalapani Road, P.O.- Tapovan, Dehradun.
