Sep 16, 2015 17:21 IST

IBPS has conducted the online examination for RRB officer scale I on 5, 6, 12 and 13 September 2015 successfully. The exam was conducted for 200 marks comprised of 200 questions with a time of 2 hours.

Pattern of Examination: The examination has five sections - Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language or Hindi Language and Computer Knowledge. In the examination there was objective type of tests.  The candidates shall be required to qualify in each section as per cut-off marks determined on the basis of performance in each section and also on total weighted score. Negative marking is applicable for the Objective Test. There were five alternatives in every question. For every wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

Analysis of Examination: This exam was a bit difficult as compared to the previous year. If we analyze the examination section wise, we found that all the sections except Computer Knowledge were of high level as compared to previous year. It indicates that the level of this examination was high. However the overall difficulty level of the examination was moderate.
