National Education institution, The Indian Institute of Human Settlements (IIHS), declared a short duration course on ‘Ways of Seeing’ - An urban centric film and photography course.
The venue of the course is decided as the IIHS City Campus in Bangalore scheduled on December 18 and ending on December 22, 2013.
As told by the IIHS, the course will teach using a combination of theory and practical.
The sessions of this course are intended to help participants efficiently make use of the audio or visual language to communicate and reflect unusual facets of the city.
The course will go on till 5 days with an aim to discover the city and introduce it uniquely by capturing audio-visual video or still images of the city in numerous dimensions. The course is meant for those have interest in film-making and photography, especially those who undertakes urban issues, and require making use of the audio-visual medium to promote their idea and message in their work. Mainly NGO/ Civil society workers or whosoever wish to create their own campaign or advocacy films, Social Researchers, Architects, Students, Designers, and Journalists can benefit from this course.
