After UGC, NET Andhra Pradesh SET Followed Suit

Following the National Eligibility Test (NET ) conducted in the month of June 2012 brought out in the objective pattern along with the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship. Taking trail from both the instances the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test has followed suit it seems.

As per UGC, New Delhi norms, category-wise qualifying criteria for Assistant Professor/Lectureship Eligibility in APSET Examination – 2012 held on 27th July, 2012 for all subjects will be in a different format.

The cut off percentage of marks for general, BC and SC/ST/PH/VH is 65%, 60% and 55% respectively. However the cut off percentage of marks for Education, Physical Education and Telugu has taken a leap forward.

For general category, Education, Physical Education and Telugu the cut off percentage marks are 72%,67% and 68% respectively. For BC its 67%,62% and 63% and for SC/ST/PH/VH the cut off percentage marks are 62%,57% and 58%.

With the changes happening at a lightning speed, time will only determine how students swing along with the changes made.
