All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar (AIIMS) invited applications for admission to Post‐Doctoral Fellowship programs in Critical Care Medicine and Palliative Care Medicine. The candidates eligible for the courses can apply through prescribed format on or before 05 August 2016.
A total of 02 seats are available for the programs mentioned above. Out of the total number of seats available, 01 seat each is available for each of the disciplines.
Eligibility for AIIMS Post‐Doctoral Fellowship Programs
For Critical Care discipline: Candidates must be MD/ MS/ DNB/ MCh/ DM from recognised institute or any other qualification approved by the institute for this purpose from time to time in any of the following specialities‐ Anaesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
For Palliative Medicine: Candidates must be MD/ MS/ DNB/ MCh/ DM from recognised institute or any other qualification approved by the institute for this purpose from time to time in any of the following specialities‐ Radiotherapy, Anaesthesiology, Medicine, and General Surgery.
For both the disciplines candidates must be 45 years as on the last date of the receipt of the application.
A written Examination based on MCQs in critical care medicine (total marks 80) will be conducted for eligible candidate. The exact date, time and place will be intimated in due course of time through admit card. Candidates who get 50% marks or more in the written examination will be eligible for consideration for the Interview. The total number of candidates called for the interview will be maximum of three times the number of seats available in the respective category including general. The result of the written examination will be displayed on the notice board of the Examination Section at AIIMS and the Interview will be held on date announced on website.Candidates will be sent intimation about the written examination and/or personal interview through email/post and the same is required to be produce at the time of examination. The Interview will carry 20 marks to be based on Clinical evaluation/Laboratory testing. There is no cut off mark for the interview. The merit list(s) for SC/ST/OBC/Gen shall be prepared on the basis of combined marks of written test and interview.
