All the candidates aspiring to study MBBS at All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) can take the first step towards their aim by downloading the admit card on the official website of the institute: aiimsexams.org.
The applicants can also log in directly to mbbs.aiimsexams.org to find the admit cards. The entrance exam is happening to admit students for MBBS for AIIMS' New Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh and Raipur branches.
The candidates will give the exam on May 28. The MBBS entrance will happen online in two shifts: 9.00 am to 12.30 pm and 3.00 pm to 6.30 pm.
It should be noted that there will not be any separate mail sent to the candidates and they must download the admit card by logging on to the website.
Steps to download the admit card
- Log in to https://www.aiimsexams.org/
- Click on 'academic courses'
- Click on 'MBBS' in the branch medicine
- You will be required to log in with the credentials you created while registrations.
- Click on the Download Admit Card option to download your hall tickets.
- Alternatively, you can visit http://mbbs.aiimsexams.org/#! to enter your login id and password directly to download admit card.
The preferred browsers to download the admit card are: Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox 3.5 and above. Try not to download the admit card on mobile to avoid functional problems and inconvinience.
The candidates will be required to take a print copy of their admit card to the examination centre. Apart from this, candidates will also be required to take an original identity card to, failing which they can be denied entry.
According to the information on official website, the result notification on June 14, 2017. There will be three rounds of counselling. The first round will happen on 03rd, 04th, 05th & 06th July, 2017. The second round will happen on 3rd August and final round on 5th September. Open counselling, if required, will happen on 27th September.
Exam pattern and rules
A correct answer will fetch the candidate 1 mark, whereas a wrong one will lead to negative marking of one third.
The minimum cut-off score for candidates belonging to general category is 50 per cent. For those belonging to OBC category, it is 45 per cent and 40 per cent for SC/ ST.
Candidates will have to make the choice of giving the paper in English or Hindi.
