Allahabad University was established on 23 September 1887 and is the fourth oldest university of India. This premier Central University is located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh and invites application from eligible candidates for selecting students for admission to its LLM Programme through LLM Admission Test 2012-2013.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to LLM Programme in Allahabad University
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have obtained LLB Degree from any University recognized by UGC and the candidate should have obtained at least 45% marks in the aggregate in the said class. LLB Final year candidates can also apply.
Selection Procedure for Admission to LLM Programme in Allahabad University: Admission to LLM Programme will be through Entrance Test which will consist of three parts each of 100 marks of total three hours duration.

Part ‘A' of the Test booklet shall consist of 50 questions of multiple choice types of objective questions. Part ‘B' shall consist of 8 short answer type questions out of which 4 are to be answered in about 200 words each; Part ‘C' shall consist of 4 essay type questions out of which 2 are to be answered in about 400 words each.
In case of wrong answer given by a candidate regarding the multiple choice type objective Questions 2/3 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Application Fee: Application fee for General/ OBC category candidates is Rs 1200 and fee for SC/ ST/ PH candidates is Rs 600. Candidates can deposit fee through DRAFT made in favour of ‘Finance Officer, University of Allahabad', payable at Allahabad or download the CHALLAN of State Bank of India from the website and fill it up correctly by mentioning all the details required.
The students are required to send the original university copy of CHALLAN/DRAFT to Director Admissions, Pravesh Bhawan, Chaitham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad and bring the photocopy along with its Admit Card to the Test Centre and submit it at the time of Test.
