SSC has declared its recruitment of Junior Engineer and online application will be received from 1st October 2016 to 31st October 2016. The online written exam will be conducted from 3rd December 2016 to 5th December 2016. Before filling up the online application form it is very necessary to know about the age criteria for the offered posts.  Following table will give you the gist for it.

Note: - Following points to be considered in the above prescribed age limits.

  1. Above Age should be calculated up to 1st August 2016.
  2. Date of birth should be filled same from the matriculation certificate.

Now, Most of the candidates are thinking about the age relaxation for SSC JE as this post barely comes into notification and vacancies are relatively low in comparison of total candidates appeared.

Above relaxation will be credited to only those candidates who present their caste certificates before the concerned selection panel issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format. If anyone failed to do so, then his candidature is subjected to cancel and if considered then it will be counted under unreserved category.
