SAT: Check Best Books for Preparation
Many students who want to study abroad and preparing for the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) often ask questions related to the best books for SAT (earlier known as the SAT I). SAT Pattern:
It contains the following four sections:

Reading Section of SAT:
In this section you will get, 52 Multiple Choice Questions (5 Passages) to be attempted in 65 minutes. Variety of questions are asked in this section, from discovering the meaning of words in the given context to obtaining the main idea of a whole passage. Pinpointing the message on a graph, comparing two passages.
Writing & Language Section of SAT:
In this section candidate need to attempt 44 multiple–choice questions in 35 minutes. Grammar, vocabulary in context, and editing skills of a candidate is tested in this section.
Math Section of SAT:
58 multiple-choice questions are asked in this section. 58 questions are divided into two subsections, one subsection is No-calculator section and the other is Calculator-allowed section. In No-calculator section, candidates need to attempt has 20 questions in 25 minutes. In Calculator-allowed section, candidates need to attempt 38 questions in 55 minutes. Questions asked in this section are based on algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
Essay (Optional*) Section of SAT:
This section is optional but is essential to get admission in many colleges. Candidates need to pay additional fee to write this test. In this section, candidates need to write an essay in 50 minutes.
