CBSE Class 10 Social Science Question Paper Design for Board Exam 2021
- CBSE Class 10 Social Science question paper will have 32 questions in all totalling to 80 marks.
- All the questions will be divided into five Sections – A, B, C, D and E.
- In Section A, questions from serial number 1 to 16 will be objective type questions with each carrying one mark.
- In Section B, questions from serial number 17 to 22 will be short answer type questions with each carrying 3 marks.
- In Section C, questions from serial number 23 to 26 will be source-based questions with each carrying 4 marks.
- In Section D, questions from serial number 27 to 31 will be long answer type questions with each carrying 5 marks.
- In Section E, question no. 32 will be a map-based question, carrying 5 marks with two parts, 32.1 from History (2 marks) and 32.2 from Geography (3 marks).
There will be no overall choice in the paper. However, internal choices will be provided for some questions.
