CDS Cut Off 2023: Expected, Previous Year Cut Off
CDS Cut Off 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Combined Defence Services examination for admission of eligible male and female Indian candidates in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) (both Men & Women). Candidates who appear in the CDS exam must obtain the cut off marks which are the minimum qualifying marks for clearing the exam. The Commission releases the CDS cut off marks and the result along with the result. The minimum cut off marks for the CDS exam is 20% of the total marks of each subject. Candidates declared qualified in the CDS 2023 exam are shortlisted for the SSB Interview by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence.

What Next After UPSC CDS Written Exam?
Candidates who will be declared qualified in the written exam will be shortlisted for the SSB Interview which comprises two stages - stage I and stage II. Only those candidates who clear stage I are allowed to participate in stage II. The details are:
- Stage I comprises officer intelligence rating (OIR) tests and picture perception description test (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on a combination of performance in the OIR Test and PP&DT.
- Stage II comprises of interviews, group testing officer tasks, psychology tests, and the conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days.
