A total of 248058 candidates registered for the examination of which 244238 appeared for the same. A total of 181182 candidates (pass percentage 74.88%) have cleared the exam. Exam was conducted by CGBSE in 27 districts (Balod, Baloda Bazar, Bemetara, Dhamtari, Durg, Gariyaband, Kawardha, Mahasamund, Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa, Korba, Mungeli, Raigarh, Bijapur, Dantewada, Jagdalpur, Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Sukma, Balrampur, Jashpur, Koriya, Surajpur, Surguja). This year in CGBSE 12th Class Exam 2014, around 285000 candidates appeared.
