The 17^th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test was held by CBSE in offline mode, i.e., pen-paper (OMR) based, on August 20, 2023, at 3121 exam centres in 136 cities across India. CTET Passing Marks Category-wise 2023: Minimum Qualifying Marks for Paper 1, Paper 2

The passing marks for CTET are based on the minimum scores required to demonstrate a certain level of competence and proficiency in teaching. The CTET exam minimum qualifying marks should be obtained by the candidates to be declared CTET pass or CTET Qualified. As per NCTE Notification No. 76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011: A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as a TET pass. School managements should give weightage to the CTET scores in the recruitment process however, qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
