Education helps you win in every department of life: Pooja Gor

Born in Ahmedabad, Pooja Gor first appeared in NDTV serial Kitni Mohabbat Hai. Currently, she plays the lead in Pratigya on Star Plus

1. What does education mean to you?
   Education for me is better upbringing to win the race in every department of life.
2. Which school and college did you attend?
   It was in Ahmedabad. The school was A.G. High and college S.M.P.I.C.
3. Your all time favourite book or author.
   I am not much of a reader.
4. A teacher / mentor who had a significant impact on your life.
   Veena Mendiratta, the principal of my school.
5. Any incident of school or college life that you want to share with us.
   Not really.
6. How good were you at studies?
   I was pretty good. Always above average.
7. How important are extracurricular activities in school life?
   As important as studies because you never know if you can excel in any activity it could become your career.
8. Your favourite sport.
   Badminton.
9. Your favourite pastime
   Watching tv, movies.
10. How do you see success and failure?
    Failure always gives you strength to grow and an opportunity to be better than before.
11. What is your message to students?
    Education is very important because it puts you in a totally different league and among a higher class of people in the society.
12. If not an actor/celebrity what would you have liked to be?
    An MBA. Branch head/manager of axis bank (as the world) knows.  It is still a dream unfulfilled. Lol!
13. How did your friends and you pass time in your childhood?
    I did not have a lot of friends, but I was always very fond of watching tv and had a lot of cousins to play with.
14. 3 things you hated about school / college?
    Exams, long lectures, projects. Lol!
15. 3 things you loved about school / college?
    Recess, playground, canteen.
