All the IIMs and top B-Schools have announced their shortlist and it is time that you start preparing for WAT and PI rounds religiously. In the recent times, IIMs and other top B-Schools of India have started considering Written Ability Test (WAT) in order to shortlist the candidates and shunned the Group Discussion (GD) round for evaluating the performance of the candidates.

About Written Ability Test (WAT)

IIM and some more top B-schools conduct WAT in order to test the overall comprehensive knowledge of the aspirants by putting forward a topic on which they are expected to write at length.

The topic is provided to a group of students and all the students express their views in written format, unlike voicing their opinion in the earlier GD rounds. The practice of adopting WAT round gives equal opportunity to all the aspirants for expressing their opinion in a time constraint of 30 minutes.

In this article we have compiled a list of most important 35 topics that you must brush up for your WAT preparation. These topics have been categorized under 5 heads: National, International, Sports, Banking and Technology and Economy.
