The RPSC Mains Exam 2018 has been postponed by the RPSC. No new dates have been announced by the RPSC till now. The RPSC conducted the Prelims Exam on August 5, 2018. The result of the Prelims Exam has been declared by the Commission and the dates of the RPSC Mains was also declared but now the Mains exam has been postponed.

With the extension in the dates, the candidates have now got some more time to prepare for the exam. This article will guide the candidates to utilise the extended time in the best way and to prepare better for the exam.

Current Affairs: The candidates should keep an eye on the latest developments around the world for the last six months.The candidates should read newspapers like The Hindu, Rajasthan Patrika, Dainik Jagaran etc. On a regular basis. Apart from the newspapers, they should also read the popular magazines like Yojana, Kurukshetra and Pratiyogita Darpan. These magazines have a good coverage of the latest developments. Reading the India Year Book is also beneficial for the candidates.

RPSC Prelims Cut Off

Current affairs section will also test the developments in the state of Rajasthan. For this, the candidates should read “Sujas” that is published by Information and Public Relations Department of Government of Rajasthan.

Previous Year Papers: The candidates should refer to the previous year questions of the RPSC Mains exam in order to understand the nature, quality and difficulty level of the questions. They should practise these papers on a regular basis.

Do Not Learn Anything New: The candidates should keep in mind that they are in a stage where they should not learn anything new. They should just revise what they have studied till now.
