Selection Process: - The Selection process is comprised of the following two stages.
1. PEMT test: - It stands for Physical Standards test/ Physical Efficiency Test held on the PEMT centers.

2. Computer Based Written Test: - After qualifying PEMT Test, Candidates are eligible for appearing in computer written Test.

a. 10% vacancies belongs to the Ex-Servicemen in each category of constable(Male) and out of 10% of total vacancies, 50% belongs to the
i. Ex-Servicemen having served in special forces/NSG.
ii. Ex-Servicemen received QI ‘ Qualified Instructors’ grading in Commando Course;
iii. Officers belong to the specialized commando type units of Navy/Air Force.
