Ansar Ahmad Shaikh (21 Years)
Ansar Ahmad Shaikh became the youngest candidate to crack the UPSC Civil Services exam at the age of 21 with an all India rank of 361 in his very first attempt in 2015. Ansar is the son of an auto-rickshaw driver and brother of a mechanic. He hails from a marginalised family from the Jalna village of Maharashtra.
Presently, he is serving in West Bengal as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at the Department of MSME and Textiles.
Roman Saini (22 Years)
A young boy from Jaipur, Roman Saini fetched 18th rank in the 2013 IAS Exam in his very first attempt at the age of 22. However, he resigned from the IAS in January 2015 before the completion of his IAS Training to focus on his venture Unacademy.
Saini co-founded Unacademy, an educational technology company, in 2015. He was also listed in the Forbes India 30 under 30 2018 list.
Swati Meena Naik (22 Years)
Swati Meena Naik became an IAS officer at the age of 22 in the year 2007 and fetched an all-India rank of 260. Naik hails from Sikar city of Rajasthan. At present, Naik is serving as IAS officer in the Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing Federation.
Amrutesh Aurangabadkar (22 Years)
Amrutesh Aurangabadkar cracked the UPSC IAS exam in 2011 with an all-India 10th rank at a young age of 22. Aurangabadkar hails from Pune. He is presently placed as the Regional Commissioner of Municipalities in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Ankur Garg (22 Years)
Ankur Garg became the youngest candidate in 2002 to top the IAS Civil Services exam at the age of 22. He was an IIT Graduate at that time. He is currently pursuing a two-year programme in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard.
