UPSC IES ISS Syllabus 2023: The Union Public Service Commission will soon release the official notification for the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination 2023. As per the official exam calendar, the online application window link will remain active from 19th April to 9th May 2023. Also, the written exam is likely to be conducted on 23rd June 2023.

There will be two stages in the UPSC IES ISS Selection Process i.e Written Exam and Interview Round. As the written exam is going to be conducted in the coming months, the candidates should begin their preparation now.

PART - II Viva-voce/Interview

The shortlisted candidate will be interviewed by a Board of competent and unbiased panel who will have the previous record of the career of the candidates. The main objective of the interview is to check their suitability for the service for which they have attempted the exam. The interview is conducted to supplement the written examination for assessing the general and specialized knowledge and abilities of the aspirants. The Viva-voce will be conducted for 200 marks.
