Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) issued recruitment notification for 11 posts of Observers in A.P. Engineering Research Laboratories Subordinate Service (General Recruitment). Interested eligible candidates can apply online till 7 March 2013.

(Age will be reckoned as on 1 July 2012. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST and BCs by 5 years and for Physically Handicapped persons by 10 years. For others age relaxation will be applicable as per Government rules.)
Application Fee: All candidates have to pay Rs.100 as application fee and all those who are not exempted from payment of fee have also to pay Rs.80 as examination fee. The amount has to be paid at AP Online Centers or at any branch of State Bank of India through a Challan that can be downloaded from the APPSC website after submission of basic details.
SC / ST / BC /Ex-S / Families having Household Supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department, AP Government (Residents of Andhra Pradesh) / Un-employed youth in the eligible age group are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Procedure: Final selection will be based on candidates’ performance in written Examination.
The 300 mark exam will have two questions papers of 150 marks each. Candidates will be given 150 minutes for each paper.

Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit.
Selected candidates will be allotted Service/ Department as per their rank in the merit list, zonal preference made by them and vacancies available.
All essential certificates shall be produced by the candidates on verification day or as and when called for.
Examination Centers: The Written Examination will be held at Hyderabad.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates can apply online by logging on to the website till 23 February 2013.
The online application mode has three stages.
i. Registration
ii. Payment of fees
iii. Submission of form.
Candidates are required to first register by log in and enter basic personal details.
For depositing fees, candidates are required to print the downloadable fee payment Challan and deposit the fee as prescribed. After payment of fees, candidates should revisit the website, on the next working day, completely fill the application form and submit it.
Applicants willing to serve anywhere in the Andhra Pradesh should only apply.
