Age limit: between 18 years and 25 years (as on 1 January 2013).
Upper age limit relax-able by 5 years for AP ST & SC candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
EducationalQualifications:10th or equivalent.
For APST & APST EX-SERVICEMAN candidates: 160cms.
For APST & APST EX SERVICEMAN hailing from Tirap&Changlang: 152cms
For General candidates: 165cms.
Normal: 79cms (minimum).
Expanded: 84cms (minimum expansion should not be less than 5cms)
Distance Vision: Better Eye (corrected vision) – 6 / 6
Worse Eye (corrected vision) – 6/ 12
Near Vision: (corrected no colour blindness) – JI
Candidate should not have squint eye, knock knee, bow leg, dismembered fingers or any other physical deformity / Infirmity / Disease.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Physical Endurance Test (PET), Written Test, and Interview.
Physical Endurance test: Short listed candidates fulfilling / found fit in Physical Standard Test will be put through PET.
Ex-servicemen candidate are not required to appear for PET.
Written test: Candidates qualifying the PET will be called for Written Test on General English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics.
Interview: Those clearing the written test will be called for Interview.
Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in Written Test and Interview.
Recruitment Center: 1st AAPBN parade ground, Chimpu, Itanagar.
Written test will be conducted at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates selected for Interview will be informed about the Date, Time and Place of interview.
