Bank of Baroda has invited application from eligible candidates to fill up 1200 posts of Probationary Officers through 01 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course in Baroda Manipal School of Banking, Bangalore or in any other Institute in other part of the country, as decided by the Bank.
The selection procedure of the bank is given below. The candidates who will appear for the examination going to be conducted on 18 April 2015 should know the selection procedure in details.
Candidates shall be selected by BOB through a selection process consisting of an (open) online exam followed by Group Discussion AND Interview.
The selection procedure for the examination aims at getting applicants who are likely to succeed at various roles in the Bank. The endeavour is to select people who are bright, have good communication skills (both oral and written), are dedicated, can work effectively in teams, are passionate about their career goals and who display integrity and a positive attitude.
The written examination will comprise of 200 marks and the time allotted for the examination is 2 hours. The candidates who will be clear the written examination will have to appear for personal interview and group discussion.
The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in the Online Test will be arranged in descending order in each category and the candidates in the order of merit, subject to 4 times the number of intake in each category, will be called for Group Discussion and Interview. The qualifying marks in Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
The final merit list for selection will be on the basis of performance in Online Test, Group discussion (GD) and Interview.
