  • Personal Assistant at High Court of Judicature at Bombay, Aurangabad Bench, Aurangabad – 5 Posts
  • Stenographer(Higher Grade) – 10 Posts
  • Stenographer(Lower Grade) – 7 Posts


  • Personal Assistant – Rs. 15600­39100  plus Grade Pay Rs.5400/­-
  •  Stenographer(Higher Grade) – Rs.9300­34800  plus Grade Pay Rs.4400/­ and  other allowances as admissible under the rules
  • Stenographer(Lower Grade) – Rs.9300­34800  plus Grade Pay Rs.4300/­ and  other allowances as admissible under the rules

Eligibility Criteria for PA and Steno Posts

Personal Assistant:

  1. University Degree.  However,  this condition  may be  relaxed if the candidate  is (i) already working as Lower Grade Stenographer for not less than 10 years or   Higher Grade Stenographer for not less than 8 years or  (ii) having total 10 years  experience as Stenographer inclusive of the service as Lower  Grade and/or  Higher  Grade Stenographer  in the High Court or in  any other  Court or  Tribunal  or  in  the  office  of Advocate General or Government Pleader.   Preference  will be  given to   the candidates possessing Degree in Law.
  2. Government Commercial Certificate or have passed examination conducted by   Government   Board   or  I.T.I.   for     speed   of   120   w.p.m.   or   above     in   EnglishShorthand  and 50 w.p.m. in English Typing
  3. 3.       Computer Certificate about proficiency in operation of word processor in Windows and Linux in addition to M.S. Office, M.S. Word, Wordstar­7 and Open Office Org.\


  1. Possess University Degree.   However, this condition may be relaxed in the   case of [a] Stenographer [Higher Grade], if the candidate is already working  for not less than 5 years as Lower Grade Stenographer in the High Court or in  any   other   Court   or   Tribunal   or   in   the   office   of   Advocate   General   or Government Pleader and [b] Stenographer [Lower Grade] if the candidate is  already having not less than 3 years experience.  Preference will be given to  the candidates  possessing Degree in Law.;
  2. Qualify   Government   Commercial   Certificate   Examination   or   examination   conducted by Government Board or I.T.I.  [a]  for   speed of 100 w.p.m. or   above  in English Shorthand  and 40 w.p.m. in English Typing for making    himself eligible for the post of   Stenographer [Higher Grade] and  [b]  for   speed of 80 w.p.m. or  above  in English Shorthand  and 40 w.p.m. in English  Typing  for   making  himself  eligible   for  the  post  of  Stenographer   [Lower   Grade].
  3. Computer Certificate about proficiency in operation of word processor in Windows and Linux in addition to M.S. Office, M.S. Word, Wordstar­7 and Open Office Org. obtained from any of the following Institutes :
