BPSC 29th Judicial Service Examination to be held on 13 August, Jammers installed to curb cheating

    Bihar Public Service Commission has recently decided to put mobile jammers near the examination centres, so that they can check on the rampant malpractices and cheating during examinations. During the preliminary tests of 29th Judicial Service Examination in the state on 13 August, 2016, the Commission has decided to put on jammers in the examination centres.

    The jammers would be installed in the examination centres by cenre approved firms, which have been called for bidding to a tender floated by the BPSC in local and national newspapers. The BPSC is responsible for conducting recruitment examination of state government offices and employees candidates in different cadres. Keeping in mind the intensity of cheating during examinations, that is getting higher day by day in the state, the BPSC has finally decided to curb the same by installing power mobile jammers that can jam the mobile frequency and signal of candidates giving the examinations.

    According to a senior official of the BPSC, the jammers would block any mobile signals, wi-fi and Bluetooth operations on electronic devices in the range of the examination centres. Once the agency gets finalized for installing the jammers, the BPSC would approach Centre for clearance of the project.

    For 206 Judicial Officer vacancies, over 15000 aspiring candidates would take part in the Judicial Services Examination that would be held at 25 examination centres across the state.
