The CBSE 10th result 2014 has been declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today on 20 May 2014 at around 4:00 PM. Students who sat in the CBSE 10th Exam this year can now check their results on CBSE’s official portal using details like roll number and registration numbers.
Or else they can access their results through IVRS on telephone and/or SMS services as being arranged by the CBSE with the help of National Informatics Center, department of information technology, Ministry of communication and Information technology, Govt of India. The Board has arranged this to provide instant and error free excess of the result.

The CBSE Class 10 exams 2014 were held from 01 March to 19 March 2014. A total of 13, 25,627 students registered for the exam, out of which, 7.29 lakh students sat for the school-based Summative – II exams, whereas 5.96 lakhs took up the Board-based external exams.
Last year, the CBSE Class 10 result that was announced on 27 May 2013, which gave pass percentage of 98.76, a marginal increase from preceding year’s record. Also, in 2013, the girls with a pass percentage of 98.94 had outdone the boys at 98.64% pass rate.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. It conducts final examinations for Classes 10 and 12 for the schools affiliated to it. Apart from this, the Board also conducts annually the All India Engineering Entrance Examinations and All India Pre-Medical Test for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture and medical colleges, respectively.
