CBSE 12th Result 2014: Wait for Result is now going to be over soon

    CBSE has already announced the Class 12th Exam Result for Chennai and Trivandrum Region, Now students from rest of the regions are too looking for their results. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) helpline numbers are still ringing with many queries from students and parents about confusion in choosing the right stream.

    While, CBSE is yet to announce the class XII results, there are calls from anxious students worried if they will be able to fulfill the expectations of their parents who want them to get admission in reputed colleges


    While the class 10th pass outs are asking whether they will get admission in the desired schools, others are inquiring if their answer sheets can be re-evaluated.

    Over 10 lakh candidates, including 6,03,064 boys and 4,26,810 girls, across the country had registered for the examination this year, which was an overall increase of 9.32% from last year, when 9,42,035 students had registered for the exams.

    CBSE 12th results for Trivandrum and Chennai region have been already declared. According to the information on a website, the girls have outshone boys in these results. A total of 402824 candidates registered for the 12th exams from these regions, wherein 46441 were from Chennai region and 35638 were from Trivandrum/ Thiruvananthapuram region. Chennai saw the overall pass percentage of 91.63 and Trivandrum saw the pass percentage of 94.26 percent.

    The CBSE 12th results for both the regions saw more number of girls clearing the exam than the boys. The overall pass percentage of girls from Cehnnai region was 93.13 percent while 90.45 percent boys cleared them. While, in Trivandrum region, 96.72 was the pass percent of girls and 91.96 percent boys cleared the exams. Not just CBSE Board, but multiple Boards have seen more number of girls qualifying the exams than boys this year.

    In JEE (mains) final rankings, crucial for non-IIT institutes, Class 12 results make up for 40% of the marks while JEE (mains) score account for the remaining 60%.

    Students can view their results on the official CBSE website (http://cbseresults.nic.in/) by logging in using their roll numbers. The results can also be checked through SMS and IVRS.

    The board had declared the results for Class 10 examinations on May 20.

    CBSE 12th result 2014 (All Regions) is expected to be declared today on 27 May 2014 as indicated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its website. Around 9.40 lakhs students who appeared for the CBSE 12th Examinations held this year in the month of March-April 2014 will know their results shortly today.
     
    The CBSE 12th results for the Chennai and Trivandrum regions have already been declared by the Board on 26 May around 12:30 pm for a total of 35638 candidates from Thiruvananthapuram, and 46,441 students from Chennai region, who sat for the exams.

    Besides conducting secondary and senior secondary examinations, it also conducts annually the All India Engineering Entrance Examinations and All India Pre-Medical Test for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture and medical colleges, respectively.


    CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India.
