CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Cancelled: As per the latest CBSE news & official updates, CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 has been cancelled. This decision has been taken today (1 June 2021) at a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi pointed out that the decision to cancel CBSE Class 12 Board exams 2021 has been taken in the interest of students. He also mentioned that the health and safety of our students are of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect. Anxiety among students, parents and teachers, must be put to an end and students should not be forced to appear for exams in such a stressful situation, added PM Narendra Modi.
CBSE will soon release an official notification with all the details about CBSE Class 12 board exam 2021 cancellation. As per the updates, officials also pointed out that CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 will be published as per the Objective Criteria (to be soon announced by the board & might be similar to class 10) and in a time-bound manner.

Many students and parents were demanding the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 board exams 2021 due to a surge in COVID-19 cases. A plea was also filed in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of the exams. The Centre will submit its decision on 3rd June 2021. The Supreme Court has also asked the centre to give a strong reason if it is not planning to cancel exams amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
