Since online application system for NET, the National Eligibility Test has started working again; CBSE has got applications of 3.75 lakh applicants. November 15 is the last date for submitting the applications for the examination, which Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting for the 1st time.
J K Yadav of Central Board of Secondary Education stated that “There were about 5 lakh applications last year”. He added, this year two centers have been added, one at Solapur in Maharashtra and other at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.
The web page for filling online applications had been acting up for a few days before shutting down totally on 4th November, in which many applicants were left worried. It, nevertheless, was up & started running again by subsequent morning.
