CBSE’s Shiksha Vani App: Important things to know
1. Available only for Android phone users: The app is currently available only for Android phone users and not for iPhone users.
2. Gives access to registered users only: Right now only the registered examiners can access all the information regarding the guidelines and policies for the evaluation of Board Exam 2019 answer sheets and preparation of CBSE Results 2019.
3. User-friendly: Shiksha Vani App has separate sections for students, parents, teachers and principals. Switching between video and audio content is swift and easy. Different section has been structured for officials where they need to provide their registered mobile numbers to obtain the required information.
CBSE released a notification stating “Easy availability of up-to-date information regarding educational tools and initiatives can improve outcomes, and that is the reason why the board constantly endeavours to be in touch with its stakeholders. The board also believes in the use of new, appropriate and user-friendly technology to ensure the proper spread of its directions.”
“All stakeholders involved in the conduct of exams and in the evaluation of answer books are hereby informed that the first podcast related to the process of evaluation has been uploaded for listening,” the notification added.
Following allegations of large-scale errors in evaluation of answer sheets during last year’s class 10 and class 12 board exams, CBSE is now taking all necessary and strict steps. It has already asked all its affiliated schools to ensure that all their experienced and efficient teachers are available for the evaluation process.
