- The question paper consists of 35 questions divided into three sections – A, B and C.

Section-A consists of objective type questions of different formats which include:
- Match the column type questions
- Very short answer type questions
- Multiple choice type questions
- Fill in the blank type questions
- Picture based questions
Question number 35 is a map question of 6 marks with two parts:
- 35 a –Based on History (2 marks)
- 35 b –Based on Geography (4 marks)
Internal choices are provided for:
- 5 questions from the set of 1 mark questions
- 4 questions from the set of 3 mark questions
- 2 questions from the set of 5 mark questions
