CBSE Class 10th Result 2014 Declared, CBSE Class 12th Result 2014 expected to be declared on 25 May

    The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE 10th result 2014 on 20 May 2014 and CBSE Class 12th Result 2014 expected to be declare on 25th May 2014. Students who appeared in the CBSE 10th and 12th Exam need not to wait anymore, they can now check their results using details like roll number and registration numbers.

    Students can see their results on CBSE’s official portal or else they can access their results through telephone (IVRS mode) and SMS services that are being arranged by the CBSE with the help of National Informatics Center, department of information technology, Ministry of communication and Information technology, Govt of India. The Board has arranged this to provide instant and error free excess of the result.  

    Or else, student can get their CBSE Class 10th Result 2014 on their email id and mobile phone through Email and SMS. For this they have to register on https://www.jagranjosh.com/2014/cbse/10th

    This year, the CBSE Class 10 exams were conducted from 01 March to 19 March 2014 for 13, 25,627 registered students. Out of the total registered students, 7.29 lakh students opted for the school-based exams, whereas 5.96 lakhs sat for the external Board exams.

    In 2013, the pass percentage of CBSE Class 10 result that was declared on 27 May 2013 had been 98.76, which is a marginal increase from previous year. Also, 2013 was the year of girls as with a pass percentage of 98.94, they outshone the boys who ensured 98.64% pass rate.  

    The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. It conducts final examinations for Classes 10 and 12 for the schools affiliated to it. Apart from this, the Board also conducts annually the All India Engineering Entrance Examinations and All India Pre-Medical Test for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture and medical colleges, respectively.

    CBSE affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, a number of private schools and most of the central government schools.
