CBSE Extends Helping Hand with UDAAN for Girl Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to assist young female students with the admission process in premier engineering institutions of India. Female students studying in class 11th with Physics, Chemistry and Math as subjects and students from KVs, NVs, or government schools of any recognized board or CBSE affiliated private schools are eligible to apply for this opportunity.

With the motive to prepare girls for admission in premier engineering institutions of India based on merit, CBSE is going a step ahead to help young female cadre excel in career with engineering to contribute in future building of India.

Application submission closes on July 31, 2017. To check the eligibility and application procedures follow the proceedings:  

Eligibility:

• Female students studying in class 11th with Physics, Chemistry and Math as subjects.
• Students from KVs, NVs, or government schools of any recognized board or CBSE affiliated private schools with minimum 70% marks in class 10th and 80% marks in science and math or minimum CGPA of 8 and GPA of 9 in science and mathematics are eligible to apply for this opportunity.
• Applicant’s annual income must not be more than INR 6L.
• Applicants under reserved category of OBC, SC, ST and PWD get special privilege.

Reward:

Students will be assisted with free of cost tutorials, mentoring support, lectures and study material to prepare for engineering entrance examination. Virtual contact classes will be organized in 60 designated cities. Helpline services for doubt clarification and monitor student learning.
